Dog-friendly holiday

With spring and the promise of warmer weather just around the corner, it is time to shake off the colder months of winter and stretch out those legs. Nestled on the quiet beaches on West Sussex, and only a short distance from the village of Angmering, our five luxury beach rentals are bursting with walking opportunities. Whether you’re looking for soft beach strolls, or luscious green walks, our baby, children and pet-friendly houses are available for weekend, midweek and weeklong books. No hiking boots required, simply kick off your shoes, feel the sand between your toes and get ready to explore the breath-taking landscape of the English seaside.

Inhale the fresh sea air and exhale the tension of everyday life with long meandering walks along the soft shores of West Sussex. With the beach either on your doorstep or a just short walk from the front door, park your car at the house and simply stroll onto the soft sands. We know how much your four-legged friends mean to you, so you will no doubt be happy to hear that the beaches are dog-friendly all year round. So delight your pups and let them run wild across the vast stretches of golden sand.

All this walking is bound to build up an appetite, so make the most of the culinary delights that the beaches have to offer. Both the Seaview Freehouse and the Sea Horse Café boast tasty food with stunning views. Or wonder along fifteen minutes east from the properties and discover the Bluebird Café, voted number one restaurant in Ferring on Trip Advisor. Feeling a little more adventurous, journey 45 minutes west along the beach to find the East Beach Café in Littlehampton which offers seaside classics in a relaxed environment (we recommend the fish n’ chips!)

Fancy exploring a little further out? Just a five-minute drive in your car will bring you to Highdown Hill. Overlooking Angmering, this National Trust property is a dog walkers paradise. Boasting views of the Seven Sisters and the Isle of Wight on a clear day, it also makes an ideal picnic spot. Whilst our stylish open-planned kitchens are fully equipped, we understand that holidays are all about unwinding. So why not arrange for our catering service to create your picnic for you? Or treat yourself to some scones and clotted cream at the Highdown Tea Rooms. Not only are they dog-friendly, but they even serve doggy ice cream! (Lucky pup!)

West Sussex is the perfect location for a dog-friendly walking holiday this spring. Sleeping between 2 to 20 people (including children) we still have availability at our five houses this March. See availability and enquire online or call Caroline on 01903892545.
